Tribal Business Manager
Pay range dependent upon experience
25+ hours per week
Description:
- Management of Tribal operations and facilities
- Grant administration & reporting – BIA, EPA, HUD, IHS +
- Policy development and enforcement
- All aspects of Tribal Government and Enterprise Accounting
- Working with independent auditors and preparing necessary schedules and reconciliations
- Budget development and tracking
- Hiring and management of staff
- Communication with Tribal leaders and members
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field, CPA preferred
- Must possess expertise in financial accounting for Tribal Governments
- Computer skills a must, Accounting/Quickbooks, Excel, Word
- At least five years experience working directly in Tribal Government
- Experience with youth & education
- Excellent communication skills required
- Must pass a background check
- Must adhere to drug-free workplace requirements
- Must agree to Tribal Code of Conduct and Confidentiality
