Application Available During Open Enrollment

The Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians’ Enrollment Committee has opened enrollment for the 2025 cycle. The Enrollment Committee will be accepting applications for 90 days, beginning Wednesday, January 1, 2025, through close of business, Monday, March 31, 2025, at 4 p.m.

If you submitted an application for enrollment during the previous cycles, the Enrollment Committee is waiting on dual enrollment verifications for certain applications and will be cutting off the waiting period at the end of February 2025. Correspondence for these applicants will be sent after that date.

An Enrollment application may be obtained by:

  • Email request to mgenrollment@mesagrandeband-nsn.gov. (Preferred method)
  • Picking up a paper copy from the Tribal Office during regular business hours.
  • Download from the Mesa Grande website under the Members Only portal.

Return applications and all required documentation by 4 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025.

Applications returned after this deadline will not be accepted.

Return applications by one of the following:

  1. Email the scanned application and scanned documents (no jpeg, png, tif, or photos please. These are often very blurry and hard to read) to: mgenrollment@mesagrandeband-nsn.gov
  2. Hand-deliver to the Tribal Office during regular business hours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  3. Via mail delivery (It is recommended you send certified mail for acceptance verification) to:

Please DO NOT FAX your application. It will NOT be accepted.

Eligibility requirements for enrollment are currently: 1) Must tie directly to a member on the 1940 Mesa Grande Census. 2) Must have a parent enrolled with Mesa Grande. 3) Must possess a minimum of 1/16th Mesa Grande blood.
