Mesa Grande Band of Mission Indians as a Federally recognized Tribe provides enrollment under the management of the Mesa Grande Tribal Enrollment Committee.

Mesa Grande Tribal Enrollment

Mesa Grande tribal enrollment procedures are determined under Article II of the Mesa Grande Articles of Association and are managed by the Tribal Enrollment Committee made up of six tribally enrolled members.

The committee reviews and verifies tribal membership based on genealogical records and family history. The committee also handles enrollment requests from prospective members.

When is the next open enrollment?

The next open enrollment will be on January 1st, 2025. It will be open for 90 days.

Where can I get an enrollment application?

Applications are available January 1st, 2025 for 90 days. Applications are only available by request. You must request an application from mgenrollment@mesagrandeband-nsn.gov.

I just got enrolled, how do I get my Tribal ID?

Your appointment date is on your letter of acceptance. If you are unable to make that date, please contact the enrollment committee at mgenrollment@mesagrandeband-nsn.gov or call (760) 855-3486.

If you are out of state, please email mgenrollment@mesagrandeband-nsn.gov to see if an appointment can be set up when you are traveling to the area.

How long does the enrollment process take?

The Enrollment Committee made up of six tribally enrolled members that are volunteers. Since they are volunteers, it may take a while for applications to be processed. You can email mgenrollment@mesagrandeband-nsn.gov to ask for your application status.
